As a business litigation shareholder at Baker Donelson, Marcus M. Maples tries cases and leads defense teams in a wide range of high-stakes cases including complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, and construction litigation.
He received his B.A. from the University of North Alabama and was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2014. Marcus received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he currently serves on the Board for the Alabama Law Alumni Society. Marcus is a servant leader with a strong track record for developing young lawyers, implementing policies to promote diversity, inclusion and equity and working tirelessly to improve the community.
